Financial crisis batters MEET fund managers The global financial crisis that saw shares on the Malawi Stock Exchange registering a downward turn affected the endowment fund for the Malawi Environmental Endowment Trust (MEET), which declined by 16%, its board of governors' chairperson Etta M'mangisa said on Friday. The trust's fund managers are Old Mutual plc (OML), which contributes two thirds, and Alliance One, which contributes the remaining stake. (Source: The Nation)
