MALAYSIA'S free trade agreement with New Zealand will come into force tomorrow, enabling Malaysians to extend their products and services to the Oceanic region.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed said the bilateral agreement will add value to the Asean-Australia-New Zealand FTA which came into force from January 1 this year.
"Under this agreement, there will be a faster elimination of import duties from 2020 (under the regional FTA) to 2016 (under the bilateral FTA). Malaysian consumers will also gain from the faster elimination," he said at a media briefing yesterday.
It will provide better market access for Malaysia's exporters as import duties on all Malaysia's export products including electrical and electronic products, textiles and apparel and auto.....

My portfolios are full but when screening on Barchart for stocks hitting the most frequent new highs I came across the Turkish Investment Fund (TKF). It's a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company managed by Morgan Stanley. The Fund's investment objective is long-term capital appreciation through investments primarily in equity securities of Turkish corporations. The fund is concentrated in 23 issues and the top 5 comprise over 45% of the portfolio. 87% of the fund is in 5 sectors: Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Telecom, Industrial and Energy.

After consultations among ten south-eastern Macedonian districts Strumica, Gevgelija, Radovis, Valadovo, Novo Selo, Bogdanci, Vasilevo, Bosilevo, Dojran and Konce, it will be known which of the eight companies can enter the second bidding round. Jordan-based Aramex has announced it has been awarded a two-year contract by the Dutch defence ministry to provide ground transportation services for its military across Europe.
